Are you looking for freelancing work? Please let me know
Hi folks!
I get requests fairly often for Drupal freelancing work, but I'm not taking any on right now. I'd love to generate a list of from folks I know that are looking for freelance work so I can send these potential jobs to people I know and trust.
If you're interested in being on my freelance list, just send me an email with your name, your specialties (development, theming, design, PM, IA, etc) and anything you definitely don't do, along with your rate, or range of rates.
Thank you!
Chris

alter title path in views (that contain fractions)
Okay, can anyone help with this one?
I created a view, am using the title as a field, outputting this field as a link.
Problem is the title names contain fractions (i.e., 1/2, 1/4, etc.) so, the link uses the slash in the url and thus can't find my title that contain fractions.
Using Drupal 7.
Thanks,
Katie
Need help with cron hook to update uc_stock
Can someone please write me a cron hook for Drupal 7 Ubercart 3 to update uc_stock?
I'm using feeds and uc_feeds to import product data. All I need is to update the existing product stock field.
I've included uc_feeds for D7 and the uc_feeds-6.x-1.x that uses the stock update. The stock update is not written in the D7 version. After many, many attempts, I just can't write it myself.
Thanks,
Katie
Here's uc_feeds-7.x:

DrupalCamp Idaho Planning Meeting
Let's get together and do some DrupalCamp planning at Rembrandt's Coffee House in Eagle.
Calendar with footer, using data from another content type.
Making a calendar of events. In the footer section, adding in a view of another content type which uses the 'Inherit contextual filters'.
I can 'Preview with contextual filters' and everything works great.
In the real window, the view in the footer never changes. It's like the contextual information never gets passed to the footer.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, MTG
Need .htaccess help...
I was wondering if there are any .htaccess gurus among us? I have very limited exposure and I am having a hard time figuring this one out.

Hey folks,
I had a couple hours today and wanted to work on something kind of mindless, so I threw together a logo for DrupalCamp Idaho. No problem if the general consensus is that it's lame, or that another one someone puts together is better. I'm attaching a PNG and also an Illustrator version (embedded in a PSD so I can upload it) if anyone wants to make some mods.

Cheers!
Chris
DrupalCamp Idaho Update
We (Chris Shattuck and I) just had a really good conversation with Kris Klinkhammer from the Drupal Association. We're getting started with the Fiscal Sponsorship program and the credit card should be sent out to us shortly so we can start booking venues, getting the catering set up, etc.
We're still trying to nail down a date. The venue has Oct 19, 20, and 21 available for us, but those are the dates of PNW Drupal Summit this year (in Seattle).
The other dates that we threw around were:
August 3,4,5
August 10,11,12
Oct 5,6,7
Oct 12,13,14
Oct 26,27,28
Dec 7,8,9
Dec 10,11,12
Rocky Mountain DrupalCamp
I was thinking about putting together an event for Drupal users that live in the Rocky Mountains.
I've looked at a couple of different venues: Boise Center on the Grove and the Boise State SUB.
What do you guys think about trying to put together an event like this? I'd love for the first one to be in Boise!

The fastest way to pick up Drupal
Hey Guys and Gals,
I am in Nampa, and just started with Drupal. I am stumbling, and could use some quick mentoring to get going. What is the fastest way to get familiar with Drupal?
I am working on getting the Answers module going, and am having trouble with it. Is anyone in the group using this module? I would love to get in touch in the very near future.

Interest in local mentored training?
Hi folks,
A couple weeks ago we put on a 60-student mentored training at the Bay Area Drupal Camp. jBrauer kindly assisted along with 5 other mentors. It went fantastic. I would like to gauge what the interest would be in doing something like this locally. You can learn more about the structure at http://buildamodule.com/train .

To James and whoever is spearheading the next meetings, I just wanted to let you know that I'd be happy to offer a free month's membership at http://buildamodule.com for each meetup, and occasional DVDs. I have some nice printed certificates I can send, but I can also email a PDF as well.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to enable drupal core search to complete on partial words, like search for "pres" and match "president". Does it do this partial word completion?

I've built several drupal sites and started one for my husbands business, but I haven't integrated a store with Drupal yet. Based on my research, Ubercart seemed most recommended. I just don't have time to figure it out as they wanted the site up last month. Site design/theme and basic pages are done. Ubercart installed. Payment processor chosen. Looking at using webgility to integrate quick books.
I need to pass this on to someone with experience in ecommerce, preferably ubercart and quickbooks integration that I can trust to give a quality finished product.

Folks,
Do we have a place to hold a meeting in August? If not, I'd like to offer up the conference room of my company, Project Zen Online. We've got room enough for 8-10 people comfortably, and if we outgrow that, we can move out to the production floor which is a whole lot bigger. We've got 7MB wifi and a projector and whiteboards galore.
I've been missing the Drupal meetings lately, and I'd like to see them fired back up.
Thanks

Help with Views
Hi,
I'm looking for someone (a good trainer) to hold my hand and show me the right way to implement Views.
My goal is to use the taxonomy for my menuing (which I done), and my terms listed to link to the new view.
I'm stumbling with placeholders and how to display the view to the right url's using variables.
Drupal 6 and Ubercart. I'm located in Boise and can come to you, host you at my place or talk over the phone.
Thanks so much,
Katie
PS I'm willing to pay and of course I need this yesterday. :)
June Meeting
Last month those of us who were at the meeting discussed having a meeting the second week of June. Since no one has planned one, I will.
8 June 2011
6pm
Fudrucker's in Meridian
I will be there to discuss Drupal with anyone who wants to join me.
Drupal is Coming back to Boise
I think that we have been getting to relaxed when it comes to spreading the good open source awesomeness that is Drupal, here in the Boise area. I understand that people are out of work, and that others have too much (and just barely enough to pay the bills). However, being involved is key to growth, and if we want to remain dormant as Drupal users, then the tech in boise is always going to be stronger for languages and software platforms.

Startup Weekend and Promoting Drupal
Startup Weekend is taking place on May 21-23. Essentially, pitches for business ideas are made and some selected to be advanced through the weekend.
Teams are formed, and furiously work through the weekend to improve the idea, develop the model and a prototype; and a presentation is given on Sunday afternoon, with a winner being selected by a panel of judges.
You can learn more here: http://idaho.startupweekend.org/
Many of the projects require web software to be developed, and Drupal is an excellent option for many.

Code Camp Follow-up
1) Boise Code Camp was a great opportunity to show what Drupal is along with how it can be used including installing, essential modules, i18, etc., and I think we were highly succesful in doing so as we gained at least one new member at our April meeting. As one of the planners and as the principal point person for getting presentations posted on the Boise Code Camp website, we only have 4 of the presenter's session materials posted at this point (or a link to), 5 of the "session materials" are missing in action!
