Welcome to the Groups site for the Denver/Boulder Drupal Users Group, where we discuss, share and find ways to provide local face-to-face interaction which can support activities like hosting speakers, providing tutorials, Question and Answer sessions, establishing relationships with others in the geographic area, and generally expand the community of Drupal users.

- Central Denver meetings on the 4th Tuesday of each month at Open Media Foundation (Map).

Other ways to connect: The #drupal-colorado irc channel generally has a many folks in it, happy to help with Drupal problems.
While the group is primarily focused on Denver/Boulder, people in Fort Collins, Lyons, the mountains, the Western Slope or the plains are certainly welcome. Heck, we've even had folks from Wyoming and other surrounding states come by.

Themer\Visual Designer for existing site | CF
We have a basically complete Drupal 6 site that has had multiple stages and developers, therefore slightly different looks across the pages.
We are looking to get the site consistent across all the pages visually as well as add some wow to the site in general.
We have a high level idea what we want the site to look like but would like someone who can offer visual design input and is creative to help take it up a notch. Once we have worked together on the common overall look, we will then need a theme created or the existing theme modified to match that image.

A meeting of Drupal users from the south Denver metro area: Denver Tech Center, Lone Tree, Parker, Highlands Ranch ... you get the idea. Location is the Innovation Pavilion, near the Ikea off I-25 (map).
Last month's format of triage (bring your problems), followed by tips/tricks seemed to work well.
But there's a strong interest in learning more about handling workflows in Drupal. Can anyone offer a short presentation on this topic?
Read moreShare your Drupal problems to solve at meetups
We've had some discussions about trying a different sort of format for the Central Denver meetup, with shorter presentations focused on solving specific problems. This would involve people posting their problems in advance and other people volunteering to demo solutions at the meetup.
So let's try it! Post your problems here, and if you're willing to do a quick demo on how to solve a problem posted here, volunteer in a reply. If/when we get enough to make a meetup out of it, we'll make that the meetup.
DrupalCamp Colorado 2013 - Swing and Ballroom Dance Night?
It has been suggested that I gauge interest for a swing and ballroom dance at DCCO. We're thinking we'd even hire a teacher for folks who may need a little help getting started or a brush up on their steps.
What do folks think about this?

We have two exciting presentations lined up this month!
Brian Goodheim will be sharing his experiences exchanging information between Drupal and ASP.NET. "Oh, East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet." ... But in fact Brian was able to unite these distant partners using a combination of XMLRPC services and good old fashioned screen-scraping. Come hear his tale from the trenches!

With the use of Drupal growing so rapidly in the Education field and with there being close to 80 people at the Drupacon Denver Education BOF, I think that it is time for us to unite and built a great community where we can all share ideas.
Again we are in the "very" beginning phases of building our community but would really like some input from as many people as possible.
Currently we have a website with just a form to collect information and a Google+ community.
