With several weekly and monthly events, the Greater Los Angeles Area is one the most active areas for Drupal in the world. We are now planning Drupal Everywhere, a one-day special event focusing on Drupal and the mobile and tablet experience.
Formerly named Downtown Los Angeles Drupal, we've been meeting regularly in and around Downtown Los Angeles, California, since early 2010, and now organize a large number of events in the Greater Los Angeles Area, including Downtown Los Angeles, Koreatown, Culver City, Santa Monica, Pasadena, the San Fernando Valley, Riverside and Ventura.
Our members and organizers have produced hundreds of Drupal events, including job fairs, meetups and workshops, conferences, paid trainings, coworking days, study group sessions, movie outings, FREE tutoring sessions from Drupal professionals, and website barnraisings to benefit non-profits and members of our community.

What's different about this group? (?)
Unlike the "LA Drupal" group, whose meetups are exclusively in beach cities in Los Angeles County such as Long Beach and Playa Del Rey (and prior to that, Santa Monica), our large team of organizers has a strong history of producing weekly and monthly events for the Drupal community all across the Greater Los Angeles Area.
Our leadership team endeavors to actively empower and support volunteers and attendees in the Greater Los Angeles Area, and to provide resources (venues, guidance, equipment, raffle prizes, etc.) and a governance model with consistency, transparency and accountability.
We proudly participate in the California Drupal Travelers Program, which aims to connect businesses and community members who are visiting the area with our local community and events. Pasadena / San Gabriel Valley Drupal Meetup at Pasadena City College on April 25, 2013
End the month with some fun and Drupal at the San Gabriel Valley Drupal Meetup at Pasadena City College on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 6-8pm!
The meetup this month will include both Users Helping Users, which is a chance for members of the community to help and be helped by others with whatever questions and problems they're having with Drupal; and Lightning Talks, which are brief, 5-minute long presentations on any topic related to Drupal.
Please note that while Users Helping Users is not designed to be a replacement for bona fide consulting from a Drupal professional that there are plenty of Drupal experts and professionals who attend our meetups and sometimes they need help, too!

Website graphic designer | The GRAMMYs
The GRAMMYs are looking for a graphic designer, to work in our Santa Monica, Calif. office on newsletter templates and our family of Drupal websites, led by the flagship GRAMMY.com.
While this isn't a Drupal gig per se, knowledge of theming is a nice plus and could be prove helpful. First and foremost is a great portfolio, then we also need some basic HTML (for coding up simple email blasts) and organizational skills.
