Day 1: 4-track Learning Experience

This year, more of what's been growing crowds of the past few years - now at a bigger, more comfortable venue

Beginner Track - Enthusiasts, first-timers, non-programmers, webmasters, and marketing people, as well as anyone tasked with updating sites will benefit from these sessions to provide a practical overview of Drupal. You’ll learn the basics, get practical tips, tap into great resources and gain insight as a real site is built before your eyes.

Multiple dedicated Drupal sessions for programmers, webmasters, themers and others seeking to get insight and best practices from the brightest Drupallers we know. These sessions are the heart of Florida DrupalCamp

Non-profit sessions

We've teamed up with the Rollins Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership Center to present sessions relevant specifically to non-profit organization decision-makers and staff.

Also…

Birds Of a Feather sessions presented in a dedicated room throughout the day where you can get help, get some work done, or create your own unconference.

Networking – After the last screen goes dark Florida DrupalCamp social scene lights up with an evening designed for fun and fellowship (location TBA). It’s a chance to get to know the experts, meet the newbies, and develop a few new friendships.

Day 2: Coding for a Cause

3rd Annual "Coding for a Cause".
This year, we will be selecting two local non-profit organizations who will be the beneficiaries of a brand new, state-of-the-art Drupal web site.

What is Drupal? - Drupal is an open source modular platform used to build everything from personal blogs to enterprise applications. Whitehouse.gov, Grammys.com, Popsci.com and hundreds of other businesses, government agencies and organization sites use Drupal because it is free, flexible, and is constantly being improved by the hundreds of thousands of dedicated developers that are part of the Drupal Community.

This year we'll be using the Open Outreach distribution of Drupal. Open Outreach is a specialized version of the Drupal software just for nonprofit organizations. We will be using Open Outreach to help us build your organization a full-featured website in just a few hours with the help of our Coding for a Cause volunteers.

As always, we're looking for additional volunteers who want to participate in Coding for a Cause. You don't have to have extensive experience with Drupal, just a willingness to help out. If you're interested, please indicate as so when you register for the camp!
