Siamo felici di comunicarvi che quest'anno si terrà per la prima volta in Italia il DrupalCamp!
Questo evento ha lo scopo di mettere in comunicazione persone che utilizzano Drupal (a qualsiasi livello) e di favorire lo scambio di opinioni e di conoscenze, permettendo a tutti di contribuire.
City selection for DrupalCon 2010 still wide open
Please note that the list of cities from http://groups.drupal.org/node/26241 (as per the BoF in Paris) is just a list of possible suggestions. Please see the draft document that has been proposed for city selection guidelines: http://groups.drupal.org/node/27246
The goal is to publish that document at the end of this week (after incorporating feedback from the community) and to start receiving city proposals immediately after that. Since we need to have recommendations to give to the Drupal Association by October 15 the proposal phase will have to be short. The proposal phase will probably end October 1. After that we will have the proposals reviewed by the events agency to gather their feedback in time for the October 15 deadline.
If you want DrupalCon in your city/country in 2010 please review the document and add your feedback!

Ciao a tutti.
Volevo stilare una lista di blog italani che parlano di Drupal e mi sono accorto che purtroppo ce ne sono davvero pochini (rispetto ad altri CMS), e che quelli che ci sono sono aggiornati molto raramente. E' anche vero comunque che non ho ancora fatto ricerche approfondite, quindi magari mi sbaglio.
Ad ogni modo, sapreste indicarmi i blog italiani più aggiornati su Drupal?
Che ne dite poi dell'idea di aggregarli tutti su un unico sito web?
Anzi, se volete segnalarmi il vostro blog (qui o in privato), comincio ad aggiungerlo alla lista...

I just received news that rooms at the venue are available.
There are 35 in total.

Standard Room
Shower and WC to be shared in hallways. There is a sink in the room.
60 euros (without VAT) / room / night
Comfort Room
Shower, WC in the room.
75 euros (without VAT) / room / night
If the attendee is a student, the VAT is non-applicable, otherwise 5,5% VAT applicable.
The tariff includes:
- Internet access in room
- Telephone in the room (pre-payment system)

PayPal down, Early Bird +1
Since last night, PayPal refused to let you go through with your registrations.
It is fixed now, and you can go ahead with the Early Birds.
Due to this delay, we add one day to the deadline, which is now July 13th.
This also means, that the voting on sessions will be prolonged one day (same deadline), as otherwise you did not have a chance to vote.
Voting on Sessions
The session proposals are done and ready.
Now you still have some time to be able to vote on them, so we can see which sessions are on the top of your lists and plan the schedule accordingly.
Get busy using your right to vote again, as this is your event!
Deadline will be Sunday, 12th July

Our aim is to convert an existing PHP based website to a Drupal site. I need a quote for the installation, template building on the basis of the actual HTML (if of any help) and module customization in order to reproduce the selected features.
The site will contain static and dynamic content in two languages, italian and english. The users of the site are only the employees of the institute, entered by the administrator.

Trasferimento sito da vps a server dedicato
Ciao a tutti, mi serve un aiuto...devo trasferire un sito (abbastanza pesante e con molti moduli installati) da un vps a un nuovo server dedicato aruba...ho già più volte:
-fatto il backup del database
-trasferito tutti i file via ssh
-settato adhoc il file settings.php
ma il risultato è sempre lo stesso...non appena modifico i dns il risultato è una pagina bianca!

Siamo una piccola società di servizi a Milano e ci occupiamo di progetti per Internet (consulenza, promozione, contenuti e tecnologia). Usiamo Drupal da alcuni anni per i nostri siti, e lo proponiamo ai clienti per i progetti di tipo editoriale/comunità virtuale.
Al momento i nostri collaboratori tecnici per Drupal sono tutti stranieri, purtroppo come ben sapete questo ottimo CMS è poco diffuso in Italia.
Ora ci piacerebbe cominciare ad avere collaboratori per Drupal basati nel nostro paese.

Qualche mese fa ho redatto un piccolo articolo sulla realizzazione di un modulo per Drupal 5.x e 6.x.
Partendo dalle basi e inserendo qualche consiglio sulle buone pratiche per lo sviluppo, l'articolo illustra come realizzare la struttura necessaria per fornire dei blocchi.
