Needed - Looking for a talented, experienced Drupal developer to join a small team of similar developers to roll out the redesign of a large-scale web site for a local Southern California insurance provider.

This will be a 2 - 3 month off-site/telecommute contract position with the high potential for additional work beyond the initial contract period.

The project has been fully planned, spec'd, designed and approved and is now ready for immediate implementation.

Requirements:

- 3-4 years of Drupal experience (web application level development a plus)
- Experience working with essential contributed Drupal modules (CCK, Views, etc)
- Experience developing advanced custom modules
- Must be reliable and have good communication skills
- Must reside in Southern California

Looking for a Japanese Drupal developer, hopefully with WordPress experience, for an urgent development.

We want to use the Mixi.jp API to:
1) MixiConnect - enable users to login/register to drupal site with OpenID account from mixi, and possibly invite firends and import the account details if possible by API.
2) Publish comments and/or nodes to mixi account when creating node/comment on drupal site (every user own mixi account, not one for all site users)

I found a wordpress plugin that does this.
It could be migrating or used as a reference.

Most mixi API documentation is in Japanese.
Developer will probably need to help in testing the module/s as well.

We have a Drupal 6 Community live and active for our customers and partners. It is a true user community with organic content and collaboration.

We are investigating various Drupal modules for allowing the community to vote up/down ideas and need a developer to implement, configure and extend as appropriate to meet our needs.

A reasonable, (though not over done) specification has already been written and approved. We simply have too many projects and not enough capable helping hands.

Our office is in Pleasanton California, about an hour east of San Francisco and accessible by BART. Although this work can be done remotely, preference will be given to local resources who can come by periodically for project meetings. Surely, somebody in the bay area is qualified and interested in this project.

Time estimates are tough as it will depend on the amount of customizations required. My rough estimate is 4-6 weeks with 3 months being the most extreme scenario.
