NH Drupal Summit 2012 - plotting & scheming

It came up during last night's Manchester meetup that there was interest in starting to organize the next Drupalcamp NH. As is our tradition ;) we should start off by having a day-long meetup, a Drupal Summit, this summer to brainstorm ideas.

The question is, when to have the summit? A Saturday or Sunday would be best. Could everyone who'd like to contribute to this please reply here to let us know what weekends during June & July they would not be available for, then we'll collate it and put it to a vote? Thanks :)

Rendering, Searching and Printing Blog Content

This is probably a beginner question but, that's what I am so I'll ask.

I've been placing the meeting minutes from our various groups into the blog content type because it makes it so easy to see what content is the newest and also easy to set up RSS for the individual members.

The problem is the minutes come in various versions of Word which doesn't save well as HTML. I can't just save these as .pdf because that makes it impossible to search (the content is behind our firewall)

Remote access to meetups

Do you offer remote access to your Drupal Meetups?
I started a group in hopes of getting Meetups with remote access listed in one place and bringing people from all over the world to your local meetups.

NH Seacoast DUG - Anyone interested in running the meeting this month (April)?

Hi all! Unfortunately I have a family conflict and won't be able to attend the April Seacoast DUG. Would anyone else be willing to step-up and run the meeting? Otherwise we can plan to reconvene in May. Please let me know and I can get you connected with the venue.

Thanks!
~ Kevin

Job Tip in Cambridge, MA

Hi All,

I hope it's ok that I'm posting in Discussions instead of Jobs but this is just a job tip, I'm not a recruiter or employer. As it turns out, the contracting agency I work for has a posting for a Drupal developer in the higher education space in Cambridge, MA (I know, it's really far but I commute from Southern NH to this location daily so I'm eating the dog food). Please contact the agent directly for more details. Feel free to contact me if you want anecdotal information on the higher education client and work environment. I'm currently a web PM on Drupal implementations.

I'm not going to be able to coordinate this month's Upper Valley meetup. If someone else would like to jump in and secure space, etc., that would be awesome. Otherwise, we'll see you next time!

Drupal 7 Install Problems

Wanted to start writing this online somewhere.

I have run into some really funky and serious problem trying to install Drupal 7 on CentOS LAMP stack.

This has got me stumped. And about to drive me insane. The problem occured when 7.12 came out in conjunction with PHP 5.3.10 and reverting back to older versions has not fixed the problem.

Free Server/Computer

Anyone need a free server/computer?

Work pretty good for a dev server. It's nothing fancy. It's got a 1.1 gHz AMD Duron in it, I do have a 1.6gHz Duron laying around that should work in it, can have that too. I know I have a least 2GB of ram for it.

It does have a real RAID card in it, Promise ATA Raid with 128MB DIM loaded onto the card for a read/write cache. It's got 4 HD's in it setup in RAID5. The drives are two 120GB and two 80GB. Comes out to around 256GB in a RAID5. CPU is not 64bit!

It is in a 4U case with an Antec 80plus power supply.
