Drupal Developers (Expert, Intermediate and Entry Level) | pingVision
pingVision is hiring full-time Drupal developers and PHP/MySQL programmers who are interested in Drupal. We're looking for detail-oriented people interested in joining our our rapidly growing design and development team for work on a wide variety of web and media projects.
This is a full-time position. We're looking for people living in the Boulder/Denver area, though we are open to possible virtual arrangements for the right person.
Responsibilities
- PHP/MySQL programming of custom Drupal functionality
- Installation and configuration of Drupal-powered websites
- Patching of existing modules for additional functionality
- Client contact throughout development process
- Website architecture planning
- Occasional support and maintenance of client sites
- Work closely with other developers and designers
- Active participation in the Drupal development community
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- PHP and MySQL programming/coding knowledge/experience required
- Interest and ability to learn Drupal API and participate in the Drupal community required
- Experience and interest in open source projects and development
- Familiarity with agile development methodology
- UML, MVC, object oriented design
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Client relations skills for contact by phone, email and IM
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, but also good at collaboration, taking direction and working with others
- Proficiency in the English language. Multilingual is a plus!
Desired but not required: AJAX, Javascript (especially jQuery library), Flex, Flash Actionscript 3, Ruby. Unix/Linux, Apache, basic server administration knowledge a big plus.
