Won't Make It
Sorry, I won't be coming. I'm blessing my son at 1pm and am going to be having family down.
I'll try and make the next one.

Due to lack of interest and response, I'd suggest we reschedule this meeting.
I understand that we're all busy, and we'll never find a time when everyone can come, but I'm surprised at the lack of response from the group. Was it a complete fluke that we got 9 at our first meeting? Is there a better way to plan these meetings? Do we just have the meeting, regardless of who's coming?
Any thoughts on how to go forward with this are appreciated.
Thanks,
Chuck
I would be lots more
I would be lots more enthusiastic about meetings if they weren't scheduled on Saturday morning. For example, schedule them on a week night.

Thanks, Walt. That's good to know that Saturday mornings don't work for you. Since our last meet-up (which was very successful) was on a Saturday morning we kind of figured that it would probably work for everyone. We can definitely keep that in mind for our next meet-up.

And who knows, maybe people
And who knows, maybe people just don't check g.d.o. very often. I'm kinda ambivalent about the weekday nights vs. saturday morning question. Weekday nights don't always work for me as I have school/work that keeps me busy at all hours -- but saturdays are often busy as well...

Our first meet-up was very successful which makes me think that members checking the g.d.o site is not the problem. Any feedback from others that weren't able to go/not interested would be helpful. (i.e. Walt saying that Saturday morning don't work)

I was unsure, but Saturday
I was unsure, but Saturday (or Sunday) mornings are usually good for me. But, with RSL starting up this weekend, I was going early to attend some of the festivities.
I think it just ended up
I think it just ended up being a bad weekend ... it happens.
I wonder if posting on http://uphpu.org/ would help? ... maybe even Craig's list? g.d.o. should be our primary communication medium but until we get a bunch (more) people signed up we may have to do some legwork.

Sorry that I couldn't make it
I was occupied with a prior commitment on that day. Sorry that I missed it. See you all next time.
