The Git Migration uses two-week sprint structure based on Agile software development principles. As team members change from sprint to sprint, the structure will remain the same and is posted here so new participants know what to expect.

The team meets each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in IRC (#drupal-vcs) and yuuguu as follows:

  • Mon: Sprint Planning Meeting
  • Wed: Stand-up
  • Fri: Stand-up
  • Mon: Stand-up
  • Wed: Stand-up
  • Fri: Sprint Review Meeting

The detailed sprint calendar is available at: http://bit.ly/d0U0R3

Planning Meeting Format:

  • Select what work is to be done
  • Prepare the Sprint Backlog that details the time it will take to do that work, with the entire team
  • Identify and communicate how much of the work is likely to be done during the current sprint

Stand-ups:

  • The meeting starts at 12:00 noon pacific time.
  • The meeting is time-boxed to 15 minutes, with a 5 minutes allowance for technology adjustments.

During the meeting, each team member answers three questions:

  1. What have you done since the last meeting?
  2. What are you planning to do before the next?
  3. Do you have any problems preventing you from accomplishing your goal? Resolution of blockers takes place outside the meeting.

Sprint Review Meeting:

  1. Demonstrate completed work to the stakeholders/community. (Incomplete work cannot be demonstrated)
  2. Review the work that was completed and not completed
