A few of us up here in Northwestern Wisconsin are trying to get together the first-ever Western Wisconsin BarCamp. We're in the early organizing phases - meaning mostly we're mulling it over and looking for a time and place. Of course, the BarCamp will feature lots of Drupal love.
So - at the moment I'm crying out for people who are interested in participating, planning, sponsoring, or otherwise being involved in a BarCamp in the Eau Claire/Menomonie/Chippewa Falls area. If you are, please be in touch with me, or leave a comment below. We have a mailing list, and of course the mandatory wiki page at barcamp.org.
Also - we'll be looking for people to talk at the camp, of course, and - did I mention sponsoring?? Oh yeah, guess I did.

That's just barely close enough that I might be able to attend. I'm afraid attending is about it, though. I'm no help with the planning. :(
"BarCamp" is like a mini con, right? Funny name... You don't actually camp or go to a bar, do you?
