This is a job I'm forwarding from an acquaintance. The client in question is interested in having someone guide her through the basics and hand over the reins as early as possible.

She is interested in work for pay or barter: skills include sound editing / video editing, electrical & studio installation (or just tidying up), copy-editing, voiceovers, camera work, sound recording, personal fitness training, academic tutoring and advising, writing, French-English translation.

Website Frame
- specific url (such as cowrie.ca)
- email address (such as cowrie@cowrie.ca)
- storage space somewhere
- site search option
- graphics / text only option
- visits tracker

Content Elements
Commentaries - feature articles w/ some images (including options for comments)
- this would be the most active part of the site
Publications - text to read & downloadable pdfs
Discussion Forum - moderated, by registration only
Media Audio - speeches / interviews etc - playable only?
Media Photo - some photos, small artworks, illustrations
Media Video - small video - can be through YouTube?
Links page - various categories of links
Campaigns page - various categories of campaigns
and/or RSS (I would seriously love an explanation of RSS applications!)

Other - future
Podcasts - possibly weekly or bi-weekly postings
Ads??? - possible advertisements and/or public announcements (i don't know if its possible to chose the types of ads one accepts on a site e.g. not-for-profits/cooperatives)

These are the elements that we would want to begin with. Between my partner and I we have ownership over, and are ready to publish:
- roughly 8 articles and other publications
- 5 interviews / speeches in AUDIO we'd like to put up
- two dozen photographs relavent to these publications

And there are more of these I am working on over the summer, such as articles and audio/video for which I need to secure permissions.
