Drupal developer and advanced site builder. Performs business and technical analysis. Transforms business models into solutions. Creates customized web applications to enhance website capability based on business needs. Uses technical expertise to develop and manage projects relating to systems integration, programming and networking.
- Develop interactive and dynamic web applications with Drupal.
- Design, develop and test web applications, databases, components and enhancements individually and as part of a team.
- Provide production support for HDR websites, intranet and external applications.
- Work with HDR business leaders and other internal customers to capture requirements and translate into technical solutions.
- Work closely with IT infrastructure staff to design, implement and monitor web applications for security and optimized performance.
- Keep current on web technologies, tools and services as these apply to HDR business strategies and operational needs

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience developing web applications, 3 with Drupal.
- Experienced in web interface design and creating excellent user experiences.
- Experience writing custom Drupal modules. A command of the Drupal API in general, Forms API (FAPI) in particular.
- Familiarity with version control—particularly Git—desired.
- Understanding of and commitment to building according to best practices with CCK and Views, Panels, and Context.
- Knowledge of Workflow and Revisioning preferred.
- Experience performance optimizing Drupal, especially with Pressflow and Varnish, highly desirable.
- Experience with Open Atrium and/or Organic Groups desirable.
- Theming experience required.
- Proven track record in delivering outstanding AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, Flash, and XHTML user experiences.
- Experience with XML, XSLT, and web interface design preferred.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database development.
- PHP and MySQL experience required.
- Experience integrating with external systems via API's and web services.
- Experience administering the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack desirable.
- Comfort working on Windows.
- Programming, analysis and problem solving skills with the ability to handle multiple project deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with executives, business clients and developers.
- Experience with software development life cycles, methodologies and best practices for web development.
- Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
- Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
- Knowledge of the IT Technology areas, best practices, issues and real world experience in developing and deploying solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Previous .Net and/or SharePoint development experience a plus.
