"amazon" How frequently do you administer your Drupal site?
"interviewee" Hmm. When I'
"interviewee" When I'm working with drupal, frequently, to enable / disable modules and such.
"interviewee" Otherwise I don't really touch it.
"amazon" so once a month? daily?
"interviewee" Uh... I'll give it an average of twice a week.
"amazon" ok
"amazon" How long do you administer your Drupal site in a single sitting approximately?
"interviewee" Half an hour to an hour.
"amazon" How does Drupal help you accomplish your goals as a website administrator
"interviewee" It makes managing content fairly simple. And it's fun to play around with.
"amazon" can you give an example of what's fun?
"interviewee" Installing & playing around with new modules.
"amazon" got it
"amazon" Why do you use Drupal?
"interviewee" Evangelization.
"amazon" :-)
"amazon" can you give some details of that evangelization?
"interviewee" Seriously. I have been listening to halkeye raving about it for months. I kid you not.
"amazon" any particulars you can think of?
"interviewee" Particular selling-points?
"amazon" yeah
"interviewee" Good to develop for.
"amazon" ok
"amazon" How does Drupal help the users of your website?
"interviewee" Hmm... select help from users where user = me...
"interviewee" shrugs Not really applicable. I just run it on my private server.
"amazon" ok, so are you the only user?
"interviewee" Yeah.
"amazon" ok
"amazon" so how does it help you then?
"interviewee" Instead of developing my own features or software or whatever, I can just use already existing drupal functionality. It makes it easier to put together, experiment, and play around with stuff.
"amazon" ok
"amazon" What are some common Drupal administration tasks that you do?
"interviewee" Enabling / disabling modules. Editing menus. Configuring modules.
"amazon" What are some infrequent Drupal administration tasks that you do?
"interviewee" Managing users. :)
"amazon" When you administer you Drupal site, you find it is easy to?
"interviewee" Yeah.
"amazon" what parts of administration are easy?
"interviewee" shrugs It's all pretty simple.
"amazon" When you administer your Drupal site, you find it hard to?
"interviewee" Nope.
"amazon" really, nothing is hard?
"amazon" ok
"amazon" What are some other important Drupal administration tasks that we did not cover above?
"interviewee" Err.
"interviewee" Configuration of drupal itself, I guess.
"amazon" can you give some specifics?
"interviewee" I mean the configuration of drupal itself. The stuff in settings.php
"amazon" do you consider that easy or hard?
"interviewee" Which isn't especially hard either.
"interviewee" Nah, 'tis simple. And besides, it's probably for the best that such not be editable through a web interface.
"amazon" any other feedback on Drupal administration you want to give?
"interviewee" I'm reasonably happy with how it is. I guess that's about all I can say.
"amazon" ok, thanks for your time
"interviewee" No problem!
