Wanted: Expert Drupal Developer | SheZoom

SheZoom is an upbeat and engaging community that encourages women to laugh, learn, share and connect via a robust Drupal website centered around video.

-- Drupal Proficiencies:

• Must be expert in development for Drupal 5 CMS, including ability to integrate, modify and create modules and functionality not covered by core. Must have deep knowledge and experience with Module/Hooks API (2+ years experience preferred)

• Expertise with existing Drupal modules, especially, but not limited to, CCK, NodeProfile, Access Control, Views, Panels, and Search.

• Expertise with Drupal theming, theme override functions, templating. Our site has completely customized theming for all appearance.

• Expertise with Forms API, for customization of appearance and functionality of forms.

-- Web Technologies:

• PHP5 - expert - (prefer 5+ years)

• MySQL 5.x - proficient

• XHTML/CSS - proficient

• Javascript, AJAX, JQuery expertise would be an enormous plus.

• Familiarity with embedding flash, video, streaming media.

• Understanding of CDN (Content Delivery Networks), and offsite storage of media a major plus.

• Strong work ethic

• Good communication skills, both spoken and written

• Ability to work independently while coordinating well with a remote team for both planning and implementation

• Excellent problem-solving ability, including ability to research and present solutions

• Ability to learn new skills, and update knowledge of advancing technologies
