PHP/Drupal Web Developer | TRS Contract Consulting Group

On behalf of our large enterprise client TRS Contract Consulting Group is currently searching for a PHP/Drupal Web Developer for a contract to hire position. You will be a key member in the development of a leading edge website.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with architects, programmers and designers in the development of new software programs and applications in an Agile environment.
• Assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
• Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
• Consistently writes, translates, and codes software programs and applications according to specifications.
• Creates and executes Unit Test Cases.
• Designs, runs and monitors software performance tests
• Administers critical analysis of test results and delivers solutions
• Develops and maintains user manuals and guidelines
• Provides project managers (effort/time) estimates on the development tasks.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of professional software web development experience.
• Significant experience with dynamic/database driven development using PHP/Javascript programming/scripting language.
• Significant experience with Drupal API, themes and assets.
• Experience with SQL development in a PostgreSQL Database Enterprise environment is an asset.
• A background of commercial programming with C++/Java languages is an asset.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Must be available to provide the occasional after hours on-call support.
