SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the eCommerce Manager, creates architecture, develops functionality and works with a team to build compelling and cutting edge web content and applications. Responsible for converting conceptual design and interface mockups into functional websites. Develops the technical specifications for the site and plans and reviews site architecture for new website products and features. Implements web design parameters, style guides and visual standards for the site.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Site Content and Design: Develops dynamic and modularized code to enable content/style updates to the entire site infrastructure from the Drupal content management framework. Provides time estimates on the development of projects and features. Designs and constructs web pages and applications, many requiring integration with existing club systems. Performs testing of developed pages and applications. Develops and maintains content databases for various applications including dynamic page/information display and user submitted data gathering. Implements web design parameters, style sheets and visual standards for the site.

User Support: Documents and responds to internal and external customer inquiries regarding high level technical and service issues which have been escalated by front line staff.

Other: Maintains registered user database and develops procedures for data overlay with membership and database marketing systems. Maintains site log files. Implements, maintains and develops infrastructure for CRM reporting. Develops and analyzes usage and transactional reports.

Significant experience with Drupal Content Management System API, themes and assets required

Proficiency with handcoding HTML and tableless CSS architecture required

Dynamic/Database driven development (PHP/MySQL) required.

JavaScript experience, especially AJAX is desirable

Desirable to have proficiency in existing club systems (Axis, TPOS, Apollo).

Position will include frequent contact with internal management and external contractors, requiring outstanding analytical, problem solving, negotiating and communication skills in addition to an excellent customer service attitude.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Degree in Information Technology related discipline with concentrations in web design and ecommerce and/or a minimum of 5 years experience as a web designer/webmaster or equivalent combination of training and experience which indicates an ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities. Minimum of 2-4 years of real world experience in network administration, web design or programming.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be proficient in English. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Editing skills required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Analytical and tracking abilities.

REASONING ABILITY
Requires excellent judgment and reasoning abilities.
