Candidates must be able to:

  • Set up and configure new sites with Drupal 6.
  • Develop and maintain custom modules and themes in Drupal 5 and 6, using PHP 4 and greater and MySQL.
  • Develop rich client-side interactive interfaces with the jQuery JavaScript library.
  • Maintain currently-existing and occasionally develop new non-Drupal-based web applications using PHP and MySQL.
  • Develop comfortably on a Mac OS X computer.
  • Test sites and themes on a wide variety of operating system and browser combinations.
  • Speak directly with clients on the phone and in face-to-face meetings to provide help and instruction.

The ideal candidate will also:
- Be able to transform a Photoshop web site mock-up into a functioning Drupal 5 or 6 theme using the Zen starter theme ( http://drupal.org/project/zen ).
- Be familiar with setting up online storefronts with the Übercart system ( http://ubercart.org/ ).
- Be familiar with the installation and configuration of web servers, databases and code interpreters on Windows and/or *nix-based operating systems.
- Be able to develop interactive Flash applications in ActionScript 3.
- Be familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite line of applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Flash, Dreamweaver).
- Be familiar with developing an opt-in mailing list system, specifically with sending a large amount of emails at one time.
- Be familiar with some non-Drupal-based PHP applications such as OScommerce and Plogger.

Please send at least one complete Drupal module that you have developed (or a link to it, if it is available publicly). Please also send Drupal themes, ActionScript code samples, or anything else you've worked on which you're prod of and which demonstrates the skills above.
