Only local images are allowed. We are having our next Washington, DC, Meet-up on Wednesday, September 13th at 7 pm. This time it will be even easier for folks coming from work downtown to stop by - we are meeting at the Science Club at 1136 19th Street, NW. We have the entire second floor reserved so it will be a whole lot easier to do formal presentations.

That's right. We are getting organized and have decided to focus this meeting on the expected changes to Drupal in the rollout of 5.0 coming this Fall. Ted Serbinski from Lullabot will be leading the talk. We'll even have a projector :)

First round of beer is on Trellon.

having some trouble signing up for this event, keeps asking me to log in, then a "page not found" or just another login box. Are RSVP's required?, or can I just show up? also, i'm under 21 is that a problem?

It's ok if you can't signup,

It's ok if you can't signup, no big deal. I'd contact the Science Club to make sure you are ok. I think you'll be fine but you can double check with them.

A bit dissapointed....

I am doing an internship in west virginia, so I left work, went back to my apartment and called the Science Club at about 3:30pm... nobody would answer the phone all I got was their voice mail, I left a message with my number asking the club to call me with a response about the age restrictions....They never called... I called up my friends that wanted to go with me and we decided that the club would probably be like 90% of other clubs... 18 to enter, 21 to drink...I am 20 and the friends I brought along were 19/19/20.. so we decided that since we are all over 18 this would probably work and we would just have wrist bands or something we'd have to wear when we got there. So I drove the 1hr 30min to Virginia to pick them up then 1hr 15min + 20min of being lost on the "one way street hell" that is DC we arrive around 7:30ish. Walk up to the front door of the Science Club to show our ID's and are told we have to be 21 to get in (even just to get to the 2nd floor). Then I had to drive that all in reverse to get everyone home last night. I was pretty dissapointed because I had worked pretty hard and drove a long way just to be turned away at the door. I know its not your fault and I do not blame you guys.. I blame the club for poor "customer relations" in getting back to me with an answer in a timely manner. Maybe next time you guys could try to find a place that at least allows 18+ so us younger drupalers could join in?
