WEB DEVELOPER / DRUPAL PROGRAMMER NEEDED FOR IMMEDIATE CONTRACT WORK
WEB DEVELOPER / DRUPAL PROGRAMMER OPPORTUNITY
We are currently looking for an experienced web developer/Drupal programmer for a contract-based position. In this role, you will be responsible for working with an Innovolve Project Team to design and build a highly interactive website with wiki and social networking functionality.
REQUIREMENTS:
∑ Strong understanding of Web 2.0 (e.g. wiki-type interactivity, tagging and linking user-created data, social networking algorithms, etc.)
∑ Strong design sense and excellent knowledge of web front-end best practices (e.g. usability and look and feel)
∑ Good understanding of capabilities and limitations of key web technologies
∑ Experience evaluating tasks to estimate effort required for completion
STRONG EXPERIENCE WITH:
∑ Coding for multiple browsers on both PC and Mac
∑ Coding using open source platforms (such as Drupal or Joomla)
∑ Coding back-end database applications
∑ HTML, XHTML, DHTML, and CSS
∑ JavaScript
∑ Photoshop CS, Illustrator and other popular graphics and web software packages experience preferred; excellent knowledge of various graphic file formats
∑ Content Management System (CMS) admin tools for content creation and editing
