Open source content management systems can make the tasks of creating and managing your website a lot easier - and there's no licensing fee involved

The issues on comparisons between Joomla and Drupal are very common these days as they are currently considered the top two open source content management systems (CMS) out there. But, Which one is more usable, powerful and popular ?

It's a simple question with no simple answer

Please go to this link and answer some questions (especially for those who have experienced in using Joomla and Drupal --> Online Survey )

i really need your support to answer this question..

technically yes ..it's all over the place. But I still use both anyway.

Also, my observation in malaysia environment ... you also need to consider how we promote it as well as who promote it.
For those who have been using drupal ...we always say Drupal is better and so forth.

my question : how many companies, sites, or government agencies in malaysia used drupal as oppose to joomla?

So guys, how shall we address this issue.

Sometimes, it's not really about the technology, isn't !

I was first introduced to CMS when i found out about mambo. mambo and joomla seem to be alike.
I would say joomla is a competitive cms platform with its component, addon etc..

but in my experienced, joomla is much more complex..what about SEO ?

Among others that we didn't do, that I can remember:
http://www.wirelesskl.com/
http://veryimportantprogrammer.com/

Among others we did for ourselves:
http://www.bytecraft.com.my/ (doesn't work properly in ie6 yet)
http://blog.bytecraft.com.my/

plus a number of other government sites (confidential?) as part of other projects.

Lots of quick sites, I think.

Not sure about the "e-commerce" part of your requirement, but drupal's great for quick sites as well as for coders to really add custom features to it.

if you look at the page source there are tell-tale signs of modules and taxonomy

if they are, then it's a very different style from the normal drupal
