We're looking for a developer to design, develop and maintain a suite of communication tools and web services to support interdisciplinary collaboration at the leading edge of science and computing. The developer interacts with the core administrative and technical staff and a range of project teams to provide websites and customized collaboration tools in a dynamic, multi-platform technology environment. Duties include updating, enhancing and redesigning the current IIC Drupal website/CMS to meet changing requirements; configuring and maintaining online working environments and tools for diverse user groups; creating multimedia presentations so that special events and research results can reach a wide audience; creating and managing electronic newsletters; and providing user training, support and documentation to maximize use of all tools.

We're looking for Web development experience with Drupal or a comparable CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, PHP, SQL; user-centered design and graphic sensibility and strong communication skills. Language and presentation skills and knowledge of multimedia production are important, as is the willingness to continually acquire new skills and provide patient instruction to others.
