Please slow down and read the

Please slow down and read the installation instructions normally found in INSTALL.txt or README.txt.

You need to download the JQuery UI plugin. This is 3rd party software, not the Drupal module which integrates the Jquery (UI) plugin.

I was following this

chirag1987's picture

I was following this instruction from this page http://drupal.org/node/809812 where it says "In a temporary directory, extract the directory "development-bundle" from the archive and rename it to "jquery.ui"." but i do not have temporary directory in files directory can i just create new directory call "temp" ? and i think i did follow the instruction apart from this temp folder as i cant see the temp folder in files directory... jQuery Fancybox, Lightbox2, Shadowbox , JQuery UI Dialog , ImageAPI, views all modules are enable but only "JQuery UI " does not let me enable and it shows error when i click save modules it shows this error "The jQuery UI plugin is missing. Download and extract it to your jquery_ui module directory. (Currently using jQuery UI Not found)" i did download the Jquery plug in from this site http://jqueryui.com/download 1.7.3 (Legacy release, for jQuery 1.3.2) I downloaded this and Kept in JQuery UI module folder so I dont know what is the problem here?

and what is this error on the page can you tell me when i try to edit something on page it shows this error "Fatal error: Call to undefined function jquery_ui_add() in /customers/c/8/2/limbachia.org.uk/httpd.www/project/modules/jquery_ui_dialog/jquery_ui_dialog.api.inc on line 19"

Does this article help?

This article helped me a ton. I had a slightly different "jquery_ui pluggin missing" error, but it sounds very similar. There are a variety of approaches... the fix for me was to use the latest dev release (don't forget a database update) and got it working.

You have add jquery_ui plugin

You have add jquery_ui plugin in the modules directory. Follow the instructions in the README.txt file of jquery_ui module.

Please stop posting to so many groups

Chirag many of us have followed your journey of struggling to understand and communicate basics of Drupal over recent months and I'm sorry that you're now up against the wire with a deadline.

But could you also consider that many of the people who subscribe to these groups are also very busy people.

Your questions are not relevant to London UK or Ontario groups, nor Oxford or half of India for that matter.

This is not a question of regional interest at all, but instead should be posted on the JQuery UI module issue queue, if necessary, after reading existing documentation and searching similar issues.

What worked for me

Yes i got up the same creek

followed ever README and HOWTO. did everything right but still error.

what simply worked for me was, after doing all the README and HOWTO mods, disabling all the modules that may be associating with Jquery and refresh refresh and BINGO
