The GRAMMYs is looking for an accomplished web Project Manager with User Interface expertise.
Job Description:
The Project Manager will work with the Digital Media and I. T. departments to deliver interactive web design/development projects for GRAMMY.com, the official website of the GRAMMY Awards, and GRAMMY365, our private social network for music professionals.
Working with the Director of Technology & Digital Media, the Project Manager will gather requirements from various stakeholders (Member Services, Awards, Business Affairs), write functional and technical specifications, oversee UI and design, and manage all aspects of digital projects from conception through launch and post-launch operations.
Duties would include:
- Reach out to end-users to develop product requirements
- Identify needs and risks that stakeholders may not recognize
- Spec projects
- Create wireframes
- Write technical and functional specifications
- Manage digital projects
- Keeping projects on-time, on-budget and in-scope
- Clearly communicating to a wide array of people (from programmers to designers to executives)
- Setting and managing expectations
- QA and training
- Oversee QA and user acceptance testing to ensure projects hit the mark
- Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users
Required skills:
- 3-5+ years of experience in interactive project management
- Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams
- Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion is critical
- Experience in Agile and Scrum based project management
- Experience managing Web site launches or redesigns
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills
- Common sense

- Experience with large, entertainment websites
- Experience with the Drupal Content Management System
- Coding chops
