Koumbit is a Montreal-based non-profit organisation that uses free & open source software to provide affordable services, primarily targetted for community groups and progressive organisations in Quebec, Canada and abroad. In order to achieve this goal Koumbit adheres to founding principles and a wholistic strategy inspired by the collaborative practices involved in open-source software development.

The result is an open, progressive and innovative business model in which skills, resources and opportunities are pooled in order to create economically viable options for progressive-minded IT and design professionals. Our open structure combined with our extensive Drupal experience and our credibility in the non-profit and open-source spheres mean that we are regularly called upon to work with cool clients on interesting projects. As Koumbit's pipeline continues to grow, we need to get more people involved. Within this context the opportunities for employment, collaboration and parnerships are almost unlimited.

Which brings us to the main point; While I can't really say that there is a specific job on offer now, Koumbit is always interested in getting to know local developers and shops to discuss possible opportunities for employment, collaboration and partnership.
