Penton Media, a major business-to-business publisher, has openings for junior and senior LAMP developers in its offices in Loveland, Colorado, and New York City.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. PHP programming using Drupal

  2. Design and develop SQL databases

  3. Linux system administration

  4. Knowledge of other languages a plus – especially Perl or Python

OTHER DUTIES

  1. Site design and organization

  2. Any other responsibilities as assigned.

  1. Drupal

  2. MySQL

  3. Apache

  4. Linux

  5. Python

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must show initiative and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Is assigned to development projects at all levels of complexity. Can complete small development projects quickly and easily. Can make modifications to all static content and dynamic content. Knowledge of relational databases, stored procedures and queries.
