This term position, based in Edmonton, is intended to build, implement, document, and test a suite of applications to support the creation of a virtual media lab within Athabasca University that will be used by students and faculty. The incumbent will aid in the development of an interactive tool for researching Canadian Film as well as provide maintenance for the university's e-lab project. The successful candidate for this position will show a mix of implementation and development skills, focused on web-based tools and a familiarity with an academic or research environment. A high level of collaboration is required, as the project has dependencies on other tools being developed by the university.
