Yes, I'd like to automate Drupal work and get home as reasonable hours!

Maybe or "I'm not sure how I can automate my Drupal work. Maybe I should look at the Patterns module."

I don't do enough Drupal work to require automation. I click.

I already deploy & configure Drupal sites with mental telepathy, sysadmin with an iPhone, and follow Twitter while on the can.

I actually voted for:
"I already deploy & configure Drupal sites with mental telepathy,
sysadmin with an iPhone, and follow Twitter while on the can."

Only because it was too hilarious not to.

There is a BlogAPI feature that I know of in Drupal that works great with ScribeFire
and I am sure you can log into a Drupal install with your iPhone (esp. set on a basic admin template) ...

However --
I'm still waiting for the mental telepathy to kick in.
Sign me up for that.

-- But actually I would like to find out more regarding configs.

I did the same!

There should be a way to create install profiles from the current configuration of a site.

This is sort of possible now

This is sort of possible now with the Profile Wizard module. Its development slowed down when it was rolled into the Install Profile API project.

I'm excited to start helping to build some fundamental patterns that I can reuse for each client that has that need.
