Convert PHP MySQL site to Drupal 6. Convert database to use Drupal accounts and roles. Perform some of the work on site in Lane Cove and the rest from your laptop down at the beach. Be organised, and produce some documention.

The existing site has accounts and roles. Drupal has a more flexible system. Convert the database tables.

The existing site has two domains sharing the one set of code and one database. Use Drupal multisite and Domain Access to allow for more than two sites on the one database.

The existing site has some content in a content management table. Convert the content to Drupal. Convert other content from text built into code to Drupal content.

There will be three people working on this project. We will contract out the themes to a separate person because there is ongoing theme work and we want it performed in parallel. There will be a person working on the existing site while the conversion happens and will act as the reference point for the code and database.

Send a list of reference sites where you have converted the database. Tell me about your multisite and Domain Access experience.

For people without multisite experience who would like to tackle this type of project in the future, read http://drupal.org/node/314624 for one example of how you can use multisite. For people without Domain Access experience who would like to tackle this type of project in the future, attend DrupalCamp Australia 2008, http://groups.drupal.org/node/15171, and Ryan Cross's presentation about Domain Access.
