Here is the short of it (as you may know):
June 27, 28 10am to 5pm
Youngstown Arts Center (site of last year's camp), its about 5 miles south of downtown.

Inc.com and FastCompany.com, two of the fastest-growing and most prominent business web sites in the U.S., have a position open on their technology staff. We are looking for a senior candidate who has extensive experience with the Drupal content management platform.

We are currently working closely with Lullabot and other major players in the Drupal community to build large scale social networks for our websites. Initially, this position will be responsible for working closely with Lullabot and our web development team to build the first release of this software. Ultimately you will function as our lead developer on this platform following that release.

This position will also serve as our representative in the Drupal community, and will be responsible for engaging in community discussion, attending conferences, and managing our contributions back to drupal.org.

Pyramid Communications is seeking an expert PHP/MySQL developer with experience in creating Drupal websites (or the smarts to figure it out on the fly). The ideal candidate will bring expertise and enthusiasm for Web technologies and a desire to use their skills to create great sites for great causes.

Responsibilities: The developer will work within the Interactive Group at Pyramid, collaborating with project managers, designers and senior staff. Projects may range from small CMS-based custom development to larger Drupal-based community portals.

Requirements:

2+ years developing PHP/MySQL websites (the more Drupal experience the better)
Solid knowledge of XHTML, CSS, Javascript
Ability to create CSS and table-based layouts
Problem solving mindset, great attitude and ability to work well and communicate in a team setting
Strong understanding of cross-browser support and compatibility issues related to multiple browsers
Understanding of web UI design and accessibility standards
Experience developing AJAX interfaces is a plus
Strong personal time management skills and the ability to accurately estimate timelines for project deliverables
Light Linux admin experience and command line chops are also a big plus

This position is contract to full-time. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience. Drupal Web Developer with strong understanding of XHTML and CSS along with previous experience developing in accordance with W3C specifications. Must be able to read and develop in XHTML without requiring the need of WYSIWYG editors such as Dreamweaver. Must also have strong UI design skills. Familiarity with the Drupal CMS system and previous experience developing Drupal themes from scratch required. Strong understanding of cross-browser support and compatibility issues related to multiple browsers (IE6, IE7, FireFox, etc) also required. Ability to develop both CSS layouts (table-less) and table-based layouts, understanding the appropriateness of either format for a given design. Administering and configuring Drupal, Drupal modules and working with multi-site Drupal installs helpful. Some knowledge/experience in working with JavaScript is encouraged. Ability to edit and create web-ready images (Photoshop et al) is encouraged. Ability to work on a project-basis, estimate overall costs and manage one's own deliverables also encouraged. Some knowledge/experience working with PHP and Flash helpful, but not required.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with ability to work well with others. Must be available for post-delivery support on an as-needed basis.
