AF83 is looking for a Drupal project manager!

Are you familiar with the Drupal CMS platform? Do you iike working on the big picture, seeing projects from client requests through to managing development needs? Do you want to join a web development company that feels as fresh and exciting as a start-up but has the stability and backing of a well-established international company?

This position is perfect for someone who loves working with the Drupal community, has as many (if not more) social and community building skills as programming skills - and is a Francophile to boot.

AF83 is an open-source web development company headquartered in Paris. We build music and digital artist communities and are expanding into the green lifestyle movement. Our clients are some of the largest media companies in Europe, including French mobile service provider SFR, and Universal Music Europe.

We are looking for a project manager to help us expand our growing San Francisco office, located in a gorgeous SoMa loft (PariSoMa) that anchors a coworking community as well as hosting technology events.

We are looking for a Project Manager who is interested in supporting the Drupal community as much as developing web sites.

• You DO NOT need to speak French for this position.
• You DO need experience with Drupal.
• You DO need to work in San Francisco, in our PariSoMa office.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Drupal CMS
• Experience managing people, projects and budgets
• Can work well alone, but also with a team

Preferred but not required:

• Familiarity with the Drupal community - online, and in the Bay Area.
• Familiarity with appropriate technologies, including PHP, MySQL, CSS, xHTML, Javascript, JQuery.

Job duties include:

• Responding to web development inquiries
• Developing project proposals
• Managing projects, including budget, developers and clients
• Participating in the Drupal community, including organizing and supporting user groups and events
