Erik Britt-Webb and I are organizing a meetup for the evening of November 3rd in Newton. The idea is for it to be the first of many meetups where people using Drupal in education and training in the Boston area get together for talks, workshops, coding sessions, etc. Post if you are interested and let us know what you would like to do at the meetups.

I'm interested
I am still hoping we'll get a group together Monday night to talk Drupal in Education in Boston. What time
I can provide space near the Chestnut Hill Station of the MBTA Green D Line.
Anyone interested in joining Peter and me? What time? How about 5:30 or 6:00?

Next time!
I can't attend on the 3rd but I would be interested in future meetings. I'm new to Drupal but am starting implementations for both a private preschool and a nonprofit that supports a Boston public school, and at the same time thinking about how the latter site could be linked to a future site for the school. So I'd love to hear how other people are using Drupal in schools.

Boston education meet-up
I could possibly make it. One resource worth checking out is a brand new site called the Social Media Education Colaborator at http://www.socialmediaclassroom.com/ . Howard Rheingold got a MacArthur grant to put together forums, blogs, chat, and wiki resources using drupal. Worth checking out the download and the discussion.
