The ideal candidate is a strong Drupal all-rounder, with experience weighted toward module development, and moderate theming experience.
Essential Functions / Principal Responsibilities:
- Build custom Drupal modules and/or extend and integrate contributed modules into AAA sites
- Produce readable, reusable, well-documented code that conforms to Drupal coding standards
- Work with interdisciplinary team members (ie. non-developers) to define and solve problems
- Support less technical and non-technical Drupal end users as needed
- Work both collaboratively and independently
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required:
- Demonstrable module development experience (Drupal API/hooks)
- Portfolio of at least three Drupal sites worked on collaboratively, and one Drupal site built as a solo project
- Intermediate/advanced PHP knowledge
- Intermediate/advanced MySQL knowledge
- Intermediate/advanced Javascript/jQuery knowledge
- Advanced HTML/CSS knowledge
- Experience using version control systems in a multi-developer environment (svn, cvs, etc.)
- Experience with basic server administration tasks preferred
- Experience writing and maintaining unit and/or acceptance tests (SimpleTest, Selenium, etc.) preferred
- Experience working in an enterprise environment (companies of +1000 employees) preferred
- Experience integrating web services into Drupal preferred
Education, Work Experience, Licenses & Certifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field preferred
