There are many great Drupal learning resources, groups, and tools but they can be somewhat disconnected and spread out. Our goal is to unify and bring these efforts together to provide a platform that serves all Drupal learning initiatives needs and efforts.
Goals and desired outcomes
- Develop a sustainable curriculum and training program;
- Discover and recruit new talent;
- Help end-users to evaluate a specialist by providing standard "levels of expertise";
- Reach out to make new audiences aware of Drupal who might not be currently aware;
- Attract peripheral Drupal types to become more closely involved and active;
- Raise awareness of Drupal among some key target groups;
- Educate businesses about the benefits and costs of using Drupal as a platform for their business;
- Promote a sustainable business ecosystem in the Drupal community;
- Grow Drupal through local groups;
- Create a more effective platform to provide free online training, mentoring, and a showcase for Drupal

Production, Training, and curriculum
Create a complete set of training materials derived from the process of building this site (see issue)
- Create production guidelines for educational videos
- Develop a process and guidelines for creating and submitting learning and training materials
- Establish guidelines and a workflow for open Drupal development
- Open up channels of communication/collaboration with Drupal, Drupal Dojo, DROP, regional groups and other related efforts.
- Match mentors, coaches, and apprentices
Structure, support, sustainability
- Create an organization, leadership, decision making, and incentive structure to ensure that we have the resources to make our shared goals and objectives attainable. (see issue)
