Allowed PINGV Creative is seeking an experienced and adept Drupal front-end developer to join our team. Work with our team on various projects, each presenting new and interesting challenges. We focus on strategy and design, with six years' experience and expertise in Drupal. Development is a follow-through of the plan we create with/for the client.
We are a virtual company.
Responsibilities
- Custom theme development (PHP, CSS, xhtml, HTML5)
- Custom JavaScript work
- Drupal site building
- Proactive engagement in project challenges and problem solving
- Communicate with team daily
- Participation in and engagement with the Drupal community
- Actively following latest developments in rapidly evolving world of HTML5, JS, CSS3
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Drupal theming, with expert knowledge of Drupal 7. Knowledge of earlier versions of Drupal may be helpful, but we touch those only for the purpose of upgrades.
- Solid PHP knowledge and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer, including theme function overrides, preprocess and process.
- High expertise in CSS, including CSS3.
- Solid JavaScript skills, with expertise in jQuery.
- xhtml expertise and solid knowledge of HTML5.
- A demonstrable record of participation in the Drupal community.
- Adept with Git and Drush.
- Bachelor's degree ... or experience and expertise that demonstrate that the degree wasn't necessary.
- Professionalism, reliability, integrity.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Collaborative but can "own" a piece of a project and run with it.
- Excellent communication skills. English is a must. Multilingual is a plus.
