Position: PHP/Drupal Developer

About You
You have at least 4 years of PHP development experience and are well-versed in all modern web protocols, markup, and scripting languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery. In addition, you have worked extensively with Drupal and have built and extended custom Drupal plugins for at least 2 years. You have demonstrated expertise in debugging and problem-solving skills, including cross-browser and device compatibility. You possess strong knowledge of code optimization and software design principles and are highly familiar with SQL and specifically the MySQL database system.
Though not required, we’ll give you brownie points if you have experience with HTML5, CSS3, and custom JavaScript development. Add to that a familiarity with mobile site optimization, Photoshop or Illustrator comp slicing, experience building custom e-commerce websites, and/or a proficiency with Subversion (SVN), Git, or a similar source control system and we just might think you walk on water. Experience building Facebook or mobile applications and comfort with client-facing responsibilities will get you double fudge brownie points.
About the Position
As a PHP/Drupal Developer at Vermilion, you will be instrumental in leveraging Drupal and other web technologies to develop custom website solutions and innovative applications for abroad range of clients. Your broad and adaptable mix of strong front and back-end development skills will be highly valued and put to full use by our collaborative, multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time, on-site position.
