Position Description & Tasks:

Neutral Space is seeking web a developer/engineer at our offices in the PSU Business Accelerator. Join our development team and create web applications and extend our web presences. If you have a passion for making the web more usable and exciting, and like a casual work environment, then look no further!

Duties:

Support and enhance the code base for Neutral Space, Inc. sites and internal applications.

Implementing database driven interactive content; customized information retrieval and client/server programmability

Supporting the team in utilizing current and emerging script technologies

May develop publishing tracking systems, conversion tools, automation tools and procedures, and miscellaneous support projects

May own responsibility for entire project or web page

Participate in the software product life cycle for new features, process optimization, and maintenance of company-owned websites and more.

Learn and love the intricacies of Linux, Drupal, PHP 5.x, MYSQL 5.x, Apache and standards-compliant HTML/CSS/JS.

Must Have:

3+ yrs experience developing PHP-based dynamic websites and knowledge of Drupal platforms.

Experience with SQL, query optimization and performance issues.

Ability to hand code HTML/CSS and to quickly transform screenshots into functional web pages.

Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and on your own with little supervision at times.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Working knowledge and experience with Java.

Experience with Google API.

Experience with Social Networking API’s.

Experience with iPhone or Andorid development.
