Carousel30, a digital interactive agency, seeks a full-time UI Developer to work on-site in our Alexandria (Old Town), VA office. This is a contract-to-hire position in a fast-paced environment requiring an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team.
Requirements:
3-5 years experience developing cross-browser compatible, standards-compliant sites, applications using HTML, XHTML, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript
Expertise with Photoshop
Experience with Drupal CMS development and integration experience preferred
Experience with GIT for version control preferred
Experience with PHP and MySQL a plus
Experience with client-side code debugging
Experience with in HTML5 and CSS3 a plus
Ability to work in a team environment; excellent communication skills a must
Responsibilities:
The candidate will accept both high-level direction from project managers and team leads, and execute tasks on a day-to-day basis as requested by management. Providing ideas and suggestions to help meet project goals are welcomed and encouraged. Specific tasks involved include HTML/CSS conversion (chops) of Photoshop designs, integration of third-party interfaces and social functionality, and supporting front-end user interface maintenance work with other team members.
