Senior Drupal Lead | Sí TV

The Senior Drupal Lead oversees the technical aspects, deployment and on-going operations of our home and partner websites. Qualified candidates will have enthusiasm for technology, the ability to convey technical priorities to senior management, and the experience that enables them to lead a team through successful execution. This individual must be a reliable PHP and Drupal coder. Please do not apply for this position if you do not have strong technical skills. Your code will be tested.

Additionally, the Director of Technology will:
• Significant working knowledge of Drupal. Coding will be mainly back end coding
• Knowledge of database development and construction
• Manage front-end developers
• Work directly with third party Drupal agency
• Manage servers
• Be proactive, flexible and a team player
• Provide regular project updates and presentations to department head
• Communicate with senior management to define scope of technical projects and development efforts
• Have the desire to stay abreast of current and upcoming web technology, vendors and applications
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with test, program management, and other groups with cross-dependencies.
• Work with leadership and executives to conceive, develop and deploy new revenue-generating opportunities
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• History of identifying, architecting, and deploying technology solutions to meet strategic business objectives
• Ability to drive and maintain product UI and usability standards
• At least 5 years of professional software development, including at least 2 years with PHP and custom Drupal developing
• Knowledge of Ajax/javascript
• Experience creating SEO friendly pages and URLs and simple Drupal interface for non-technical content editors.
• Knowledge of MySQL including all forms of joins, indexing, etc.
• Experience with SVN source code control system
• Experience with Brightcove video service would also be a plus
• Identification of emerging technologies that are likely to impact systems and services

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of technology & development experience
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
