Start:
2006-11-03 07:00 EST - 2006-11-03 09:00 EST

Since moving to Toledo, OH 3 weeks ago I have been talking to eveyone about Drupal. Yes, everyone. :-)

From home-schooling groups to Univerity of Toledo professors/grads. This meeting is the start of introducing Drupal to the Toledo public, how it can be used to further their interest and so forth.

I posted here if anyone in the Drupal community is around the area to join-in. (Keith if you can make it I know you would be a real blessing!)

I cannot make it this Friday, however - not unless you move the meeting to the BGSU Ice Arena. (^:

Let me know how it goes - I will make it someday.

Nice to see some Drupal activity in Ohio...

It's great to see a Drupal MeetUp in Ohio...too bad I am in Akron. Nonetheless, I am happy to see some fellow Buckeye Staters spreading the good word about Drupal.

Ahem....

I'm simply from Michigan...trapped in Ohio.

lol.

I have to hide all my MI garb in the closet....beware of the Buckeye's!

Let's plan on an Akron Meetup down the road. A bunch of us would drive out for.... Drupal Coffee. :-)

Where in Akron?

I'm also here in Akron... We should hook up on IM or something... shoot me an email.

Meetup Feedback

ahhh...the dust has cleared around my laptop so that I might see the keyboard to post some feedback from the meetup.

basically I introducded Drupal to some friends, we did a short podcast for our new company and talked about how we can use Drupal to impact our local community.

I was helped by having fresh eyes look at some of my Drupal sites to see how useable they are (menu links, nav, how-to-do-stuff, so-where-is-that-content?). sometimes we get locked into the Drupal zone...

I think if we get 10+ next time I'm springing for coffee. :-)
