Drupal Consultant (For DrupalFlex Integration) | Rivello Multimedia Consulting

Hello. My name is Samuel Asher Rivello. I am the principal at RMC, Rivello Multimedia Consulting, (RivelloMultimediaConsulting . com).

RMC is a consulting agency focusing in four areas of Multimedia including software architecture for Flash/Flex applications, consulting, training, and to a lesser degree - development. RMC is flexible with working relationships from simply lending a hand in development to larger tasks of Rich Internet Application architecture. RMC is located in Venice, Los Angeles County, California, USA and staff is available for domestic and international travel. My priority is to engage myself as the sole resource, but can also bring larger teams to server my clients.

I am a Drupal beginner and want to learn enough to pitch it to clients as a backend option to my front-end projects. I will complete the front end and likely subcontract for each Drupal backend project. I am looking for two types of assistance from the Drupal community. I may seek a different party for each of these two roles.

1) Short Term Consulting, 1 Time, 1-8 Hours

-Assist with fresh Drupal install running CCK, AMFPHP, and other modules needed for Flex to connect. Flex will be able to load nodes of custom content types, edit notes, and create new nodes. I will create the Flex portion. No Flex experience needed, but AMF experience + Flex experience is a plus. I have followed along this video and gotten 80% of the video's tasks complete, but need some help and have some questions. I tried with Drupal 6.x, but if that causes me problems, I'm ok to attempt 5.x. (http://files.thisbythem.com/screencasts/services-2.mov). In addition to what is covered there I want to add CCK's custom content types and learn to map the classes from PHP to AS3 using AMFPHP class mapping.

2) Short Term Development, Multiple Times, 40-200 Hours

-Assist with projects that are Flex front end and Drupal backend. Each will likely use the technique I pioneer in #1 above.
