A small but growing Internet Technologies company in the Mondanock region of New Hampshire is looking for a very strong Drupal developer. We specialize in Open Source CMS web application development leveraging Drupal, PHP, and MySQL. We are experts in our field and others in the industry seek out our knowledge for assistance in their own projects.

We have an opportunity for an accomplished Drupalist to learn/build Web 2.0 solutions utilizing Drupal and associated technologies. We’re looking for someone with an aptitude for learning new technologies that is not afraid to push the envelope.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with, and modifying Open Source applications integrated with complex polished designs, which are often supported with advanced backend PHP code. A qualified candidate should have demonstrable experience developing dynamic web-based PHP applications.

Position Requirements:
•5 years experience in a team based software development environment
•Expert knowledge of HTML/DHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and MySQL is required
•Serious Experience developing Drupal based web applications
•Experience using version control software in a team development environment (SVN a plus).
•Experience developing social networking applications a huge plus
•Knowledge of web standards
•Strong LAMP background is required
•Knowledge of Object Oriented programming (OOD), PHP Template Engines and RSS feeds is desirable
•Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly is a must
•Associate degree in Computer Sciences or related field required

Ideal candidates possess the following characteristics:
•Wouldn't dream of 'hacking the core'. Prefers instead to develop custom modules.
•Can say "Software Engineering principles" without breaking into laughter.
•A desire to work in Keene, NH, for the first couple months of employment (not a requirement per se, but it may be a differentiator).
•A strong sense of humor, patience, and flexibility.
•Excellent communication skills (face-to-face, on the phone, and through email/skype).

Priority given to candidates that submit sample URLs representing professional accomplishments. Include specific descriptions of your contributions to the projects, including the tools utilized to create your works, along with samples of previous work.

Agencies, recruiters, development shops both US based and abroad need not respond - you'll only be wasting your time if you do. Your email will be deleted upon receipt. We are interested in talking directly to principles only.

Please send your resume to richard.hahn@lucidus.net if you are interested in being considered for this position. Please include your compensation requirements in your introductory email (Yes, I know this may be uncomfortable, but it tells us whether we're in the same ball park, in the same city, or whether we wouldn't even get close to what you want).
