College of Western Idaho (CWI) seeks a web programmer with Drupal experience to utilize coding, programming, information management, project management, and communication skills to maintain and develop the CWI public facing website.

Responsibilities include creating a variety of tools and features to enhance the functionality, navigation, programming, and design of CWI’s website in compliance with College branding and ADA accessibility standards.

Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of three years' experience in the field; knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for web application development.Candidate must provide a portfolio that illustrates own work.
In-depth knowledge of existing/upcoming web standards, accessibility issues, and web application development processes.
Knowledge of information architecture including easily navigated user interfaces.
Experience with Dynamic-HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, PHP, AJAX, and MySQL.
Familiarity with database and web integration.
Knowledge of testing on major browsers and exposure to cross-browser/platform compatibility issues.
Familiarity with SEO and social media.
Experience with Drupal content management system (CMS) and developing in CMS web environments.
Experience testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CMS websites.
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Customer service oriented in working effectively and comfortably with external and internal constituents and stakeholders.

Superior Candidates:
Bachelor degree plus 5 years of web-based application development experience or equivalent combination of experience/education required.
Experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP).
Prior experience developing large Drupal CMS web environments.
Experience working in a higher education environment.
Familiarity with mobile phone development and SMS a plus.
