YSA (Youth Service America) is hiring a Web Developer, responsible for developing all YSA web properties (YSA.org, GYSD.org, etc.). Reporting to YSA's ICT Director, the Web Developer helps internal and external stakeholders reach their goals by developing new sections of existing Drupal sites or creating microsites for new campaigns.

Key Functions and Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain and support YSA.org, GYSD.org and other YSA websites
Work with staff, the ICT team, and contractors on implementing new content and functional areas of the website(s)
Assume ownership on key technology projects and provide independent creative initiative to meet the needs of YSA's diverse audiences
Support website and CRM stakeholders
Design and develop email and landing page templates
Contribute to the focus and direction of YSA's technology strategy
Provide occasional workstation and server-related support as needed
Desired Qualifications
A web design/development degree or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS (preferably HTML5 and CSS3) and working knowledge of JavaScript, specifically the jQuery library
Experience with content management systems (Drupal, Wordpress, etc.) as well as popular modules and extensions
PHP and/or Drupal themeing experience a plus
Experience with database systems (primarily SQL-based)
Familiarity with web standards, usability/accessibility, and security
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A sense of humor, flexibility, and a positive attitude
