Tussle is a social competition network that provides a home for all bets, dares, competitions and challenges among friends (private beta starting soon – www.tussle.com). We’re a funded, fast growing start-up based out of downtown Princeton, NJ. We have a true start-up environment, working out of an awesome renovated industrial loft-space with a few other tech companies.
About the position
As a Sr. PHP/Drupal developer at Tussle, you’ll play a major role in the development process, working on a large variety of projects and feature sets. Your responsibilities will include both front-end and back-end development, including creation and maintenance of any modules necessary to achieve custom features. Depending on your experience and interest, you’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in the entire life cycle of new feature implementation including initial design, architecture, building, and testing. The right candidate may have the opportunity to grow very quickly with the company into positions of greater management and responsibility, as the team expands.
Compensation: Very competitive – based on skills and experience
Location: Princeton, NJ.

Requirements
• You’re a PHP and Drupal pro, experienced with the complete lifecycle of creating and maintaining Drupal solutions
• You have strong and efficient JavaScript/CSS/HTML skills and you’re comfortable using Drush and Git
• 2-5 years experience working in the software industry
• BS/MS in Computer Science or relevant experience
• You deliver code that can be easily implemented, understood and maintained by other team members
• You follow best practices and stay current with industry trends
• You thrive in a flexible environment and you have strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Bonus: Deep familiarity integrating with Facebook’s API
• Bonus x 2: Experience implementing and/or customizing game mechanics
