Job Description: You are responsible for implementing software and systems described in project plans, sometimes independently and sometimes in conjunction with other team members. As a member of the team, you involve other team members where appropriate to resolve challenges. Primarily, these implementations are done on web-based platforms, so you are very familiar with technologies used to deliver applications on the web. Besides carrying out implementations, you assist with the development of project plans, and with supporting clients in the use of systems you have built. You have experience working in a virtual office environment (i.e. from home) or have the ability and appropriate environment to do so. You will be required to travel periodically for in-person team and client meetings.
Key expertise - You must be very strong in all three of these areas:
- Experience with a variety of free and open source software solutions, especially Drupal and CiviCRM.
- Experience writing, testing, and deploying websites and/or open source software, particularly HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP
- Experience applying graphic design mock-ups (e.g. from Photoshop or GIMP) to HTML/CSS template
