Hello,

We'd like to obtain a time and cost estimate (preferably in hours) for a Drupal CMS for an RFP we are developing for an arts organization/museum. We are designing and developing the entire website and will be providing XHTML/CSS templates for the required CMS.

Please review the list of required functionality below that need to be integrated with Drupal modules, as well as information and client services needed as soon as you have a moment.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Drupal CMS installation of the most stable release of Drupal for an RFP being developed for an arts organization's/museum's redesigned and re-engineered website onto a client's server.

TIMELINE: Website launch/completion with fully operational CMS is June 1, 2009.

REPLY NEEDED: No later than Thursday morning (Jan. 29), if possible. The RFP deadline is Friday, Jan. 30 at noon.

REQUIRED FUNCTIONALITY: All the items listed below need to be integrated into Drupal.

• Drupal Installation: Installation of the most stable release of Drupal onto the client's server (if not previously installed — a webhost is still being determined).

• XHTML/CSS Integration: Integration of XHTML/CSS templates (which we will provide) into Drupal system.

• Automated Donation System: Needs to be integrated; currently provided by Blackbaud/Raisers' Edge.

• E-commerce System: For sales by a store, currently an Amazon link. Must accept credit card payments, promotion codes, as well as an hourly & cost estimate to incorporate the Amazon store link in case the client wants to integrate it.

• Rental Booking System & Reservations: For appointments, reservations, information request; will include electronic form pages & feature rental spaces, facilities, and floor plans.

• Automated Job Postings & Volunteer Opportunities Systems: To easily edit/update jobs & volunteer opportunities, contact personnel, and submit info & resumes possibly via a form page as well as e-mail.

• ListServ Capabilities: To track & manage e-mail lists, membership registration, payments, donations, and demographic data info from site visitors from certain areas via a single database of users & profiles that will allow client to contact/e-mail them according to their area of interest & profile.

• E-Newsletter System: We are recommending an off-the-shelf solution but integration is still needed.

• Website Statistics Tool: Consisting of integrating a web analytics solution that will gather information about the number of site visitors.

• Video Player/Video Gallery: To be managed by the client in the admin, as well as be used by the public to allow for the upload of user-generated content.

• Blog

• Podcast: Video & audio that site visitors can also upload content.

• Calendar: Features links to events, programs, & public kiosk information, with search filters needed to help site visitors find specific events and dates. Advertisements/promotions may need to be added.

• Archives: Manage & maintain video archive, photo archive, current and back issues of magazine publications and allow access to site visitors.

• Online Member Registration & Payment Integration: Classes/class scheduling information, general programs, and membership registration all currently provided by Blackbaud/Raisers' Edge.

• Adjustable Text & Page Sizing: Scalable options allowing site visitors to increase font and page sizing.

• Search Capabilities Integration: Using key words or phrases that will identify content from throughout the site.

• Social Network Integration: Integration of Face Book, You Tube channels, and other potential networks such as web forms.

• Imaging Software Integration: Future use of imaging software called Gallery Systems TMS that will be acquired by the client.

• Public Kiosk Integration: Now under development by the client.

• Event Ticketing System Integration: To be determined by the client.

• Drupal CMS Training: Training sessions for non-technical staff, including a CMS User Guide/Handbook with instructions and illustrations of steps, as well as results of the steps/instructions, and necessary support.
