The efforts to create a Drupal skill set map are continuing, and we have now reached a state where it's time to give some richer descriptions to each skill set. You can join!

I can join? How?

I'm glad you asked! It is easy:

 1. Go to the list of skill sets and find your favourite skill set(s).
 2. If it is linked, follow the link to its description page. Read, update, comment, discuss!
 3. If it is not linked, then you can start a new description page!

How do I start a new description page?

It is easy! Do the following:

 • Join the Curriculum and Training group, if you haven't alreday.
 • Create yourself a new wiki page, and give it the title "Description of skill set [skill set name]" (or something else that is descriptive)
 • Please start the post with the following snippet: This page relates to the Skill sets described in the open curriculum project, and tries to describe one of the skill sets. See this page a collaborative notebook, and feel free to edit and improve it.
 • Write any kind of description of the skill set you find appropriate. It doesn't have to be complete. It doesn't have to follow the same patterns as other descriptions. Heck, it doesn't even have to be good. It has to be a start! (The short-short description at the skill set list may be good for inspiration, if you need it.)
 • Edit the Skill set list and add a link to your skill set description. Otherwise people won't find it. It is also a good idea to tag your page "open curriculum"
 • Feel free to follow up on comments and updates that are happening to the description page.

That's it!

(PS: All skill sets are not represented in a perfect way in the skill set list, so don't be alarmed if you find things that should be improved. But please write a comment about it!)
