Drupal Developer | Scribes & Shooters

I represent a group of very talented, experienced writers, photographers and videographers looking for a Drupal developer in South Florida (spanning Miami to West Palm Beach.) We’re seeking someone who can turn static websites into more active, beautiful content managed websites with a focus on new, online communities and social networks.
While I understand most of this can be done through telecommuting, this team will want some face-to-face contact, and we think some knowledge of South Florida and its communities is a necessity.
We are primarily end-users who will be responsible for the content that will be uploaded on these sites, daily, weekly, monthly etc. What I need is a person who can work with the team on a contract basis, listen to features we’re looking for, design them and get them up and running fairly quickly. We’re not looking for anything particularly elaborate, but clean and functional. Though we appreciate and urge creativity.
Again, this in a contract basis, and we’re looking for someone for initial design on the websites. We then take over with the content. But the potential number of websites is unlimited, and we like long-lasting relationships. Fluency in Spanish, Creole or Portugese is a big plus, but certainly not necessary.
If you have experience working with video on drupal, customizing modules, CSS skills, PHP skills and/or Ruby on Rails skills this is a major plus so please include this info in your cover letter.
