Ich hab vor, die Seite mit Drupal 6 zu realisieren.</p> <p>Folgendes sollte am Anfang inkludiert sein:</p> <ul> <li>Eventkalender (filtrierbar nach Region und Genre)</li> <li>Lokalprofile (filtrierbar nach Region, Genre und anderen... )</li> <li>Musikerprofile (filtrierbar nach Genre)</li> <li>Forum</li> </ul> <p>Es gibt insgesamt 4 Rollen:</p> <ul> <li>Lokal (nur Adresseintrag, Leseberechtigung in allen Foren, Schreibberechtigung nur bei den Anregungen)</li> <li>Lokal+ (Adresseintrag+Beschreibung, Termine eintragen, Schreibberechtigungen bei allen Foren)</li> <li>Musiker (nur Adresseintrag, Leseberechtigung in allen Foren, Schreibberechtigung nur bei den Anregungen)</li> <li>Musiker+ (Adresseintrag+Beschreibung, Schreibberechtigungen bei allen Foren)</li> </ul> <p>Später kommt evtl. auch eine 5. Rolle dazu (reg. User für Newsletter).</p> <p>Jetzt zu meinen Fragen:</p> <ul> <li>Ich würde gerne die Filtrierung nach Region permanent machen. D.h. man wählt auf der Startseite (ob im Drupal oder nicht, weiß ich noch nicht) ein Bundesland aus. Dieses Bundesland sollte sich Drupal merken und dann nur die Events und die Lokale anzeigen, die in der vorher gewählten Region ist. Ist das machbar? Wenn ja, wie?</li> <li>Ich würde die Userprofile mit Content Profile machen, wo ich einen (oder mehrere) Link(s) zum Lokal-/Musikerprofil(en) einbauen kann. Geht das? Wenn ja, wie?</li> </ul> <p>Ich weiß nicht, wie ich obenstehende Punkte umsetzen kann. Things are going so fast that any plan would be obsolete before the project could get granted. That's why I think it would be the most interesting to do a proposal for a series of expert meetings throughout Europe that brings together people to discuss their implementation of the semantic web in Drupal, every time followed by a code sprint.</p> <p>The core developers involved in Semantic Drupal development that are located outside of Europe could be invited as speakers (e.g. only European companies normally qualify for funding), the actual participants could be companies or universities in Europe that organise the meetings.</p> <p>Who would be interesting in taking part in such a project and organise one of the meetings. Max is a user on a platform now fow a while, then the general terms and conditions change (like on studivz now f.e.) and the next time when he log's into the start side of the platform a message is displayed in front of him to accept the terms and conditions. After accepting, the normal start site of the platform is displayed.</p> <p>Another usecase is a welcome message: Everytime a user goes to the startscreen a welcome message with content like "how cool is the platform" and "how to use these cool features" is displayed. The user can either click ok and the normal start site is displayed, or click: never show this again, and it will never show up any more.</p> <p>Is there something to do that in drupal? I'm glad that I was able to make the first release of my project today. Last week has been an intensive week of testing (thanks to all my tester) and the weekend has even been more intensive with bug fixing and today I finally had time to write some documentation. So I think, most things are done.</p> <p>Overall, I'm satisfied with my results. When I read my initial <a href="http://groups.drupal.org/node/3142">proposal</a> or when I see my first <a href="http://groups.drupal.org/files/taxonomy_manager.jpg">UI design</a> again, I can say, the results are very close to what I've planed. The application has seen a couple of iterations based on valuable feedback by Adam Light and Derek Wright, both of which are working on RCS stuff for the Project module. Being fed into Google, this means that the Drupal mentors can now place private comments and supporting votes there.</p> <p>Given that there are a good number of comments on some of the other proposals in this group, I'm still wondering if there is something I can do to spread the word and get more input from the greater public. Furthermore it's great that this all is sponsored by the Austrian company <a href="http://www.prokarriere.at">Pro.Karriere</a>!</p> <p>So, what's workflow-ng?</p> <p><q>Workflow-ng ist the next generation module package for building workflows with Drupal. It allows building configurable state machines, which can be supplied programmatically or through the admin interface. So workflow-ng will be a tool for module developers as well as for site admins.<br /> Workflow-ng doesn't work only for content nodes, it will be coded on top of a “drupal entity” - so it will start with support for nodes, comments and users. Furthermore it doesn't urge you to introduce new states for your entities,because it does interpret each saved entity as a new possible state. This allows one to reuse existing information, e.g. reuse the existing „published“ and „moderated“ fields of nodes.<br /> Also workflow-ng won't allow one building state-machines only. One will also be able to react on various “events” with configurable actions, which allows site-admins or modules to adapt any default behaviour. E.g. this suits very well for e-mail notifications. Send a thank you message to the author of a certain node type? Erfreulicherweise spielt Drupal darin eine prominente Rolle.</p> <p>Am 12. 1. findet im Clubraum von servus.at in der Kirchengasse 4 (Stadtwerkstatt Linz) ein "Erste Schritte" Workshop für Drupal statt. Ich habe von Uschi Reiter, der GF von servus.at heute gehört, dass der Termin am 12. bereits ausgebucht ist und daher ein Workshop für Fortgeschrittene am 13. geplant ist.</p> <p>Das könnte speziell für die AbonnentInnen dieser Gruppe interessant sein.
